Blueberry Muffin: A Delectable Cannabis Strain Review

[Purple Thai x Afghani][50/50]

I think we’ve all realized my love affair with Blueberry flavored cannabis is real life by this point, and from previous blog posts you  may have gathered that Blueberry Cough is one of the most delectable strains that I have come across. BUT ALAS! Health for Life out of Mesa, Arizona brought us some Blueberry Muffin that is absolutely, hands down the most divine hybrid strain that I have smoked in the last year. Genetically you won’t find Blueberry in this strain but the smell and taste bring your mind straight to a freshly baked blueberry muffin.

How Does It Hit The Senses?

As I mentioned, once you smell this strain you will feel as if you’re taking a big whiff of freshly baked blueberry muffins. I have seen three different batches of this flower now and the third batch actually renders a cakey muffin smell along with fresh blueberries. I believe that it is the mixture of the obvious sweet blueberry aroma along with a floral Lilly scent donated from the Purple Thai. The nuggets themselves are quite beautiful, they appear purpled to a slight blue across a dark forest green canvas. Pistils appear in a burnt orange color in tufts throughout each chunky, semi rounded bud.

What is the Effect?

This is not true of all strains, but Blueberry Muffin definitely tastes the same as it smells. It delivers sweet, fresh and vibrant tasting smoke upon inhalation. You will feel effects begin almost immediately in the ocular region but not so heavy as to make you fatigued. The calmness emanates from your facial muscles throughout the entire body to create a delightful feel of muscular relaxation. Enjoy a slow mind meld as your worries, stresses and cares fly away like little butterflies. I find the Blueberry Muffin to reduce my stress and anxiety while also reducing my immense neck and shoulder pain (I’ve been doing some serious work in yoga to balance both sides of my body; it’s sort of creating some healing crises in my muscles). There is also a nice amount of relaxation in the stomach, this hybrid strain can really help with any nausea or stomach issues you may have.

I definitely would not recommend this to a beginner unless they are battling serious issues. Everyone should medicate with Blueberry Muffin for the first time in a safe space when they will not have to take part in any strenuous work, whether it be mental or physical. It can be an intense strain under the right circumstances, so I recommend that you try it for the first time under these conditions to fully understand the effects and then medicate appropriately. Anyone who wants to relax mentally or physically will enjoy this medical marijuana strain to the fullest.

I wholeheartedly agree with your review. I was given a first time patient pre-roll of Blueberry Muffin and when I blazed it, I experienced THE BEST SENSATIONS OF MY LIFE, bar none. I too do yoga regularly and am Arizona-born. In Gilbert.

I’ve had my eyes peeled looking for Blueberry Muffin or Blueberry Muffin for months eber since! Spotted it Saturday at Herbal Wellness, so I used my FTP BOGO for two 1/8th; Blueberry Muffin and Girl Scout Cookies are now near at hand. They are both hellastrong! 😉 Also picked up Blueberry honey comb and Northern Lights shatter from Monarch. (All set on the mmj front for a couple of weeks.)

A tip: on a page where you mentioned lily, as in the flower, you wrote “Lilly.” It was probably an auto-correct boo boo, but your grammar and syntax are so top notch, I thought you might want to know.

Be good to you. Namaste. Carrie

Thank you so much! I am quite the stickler for my own grammar so I’m stoked that you let me know. Also it makes my happy that you also loved Blueberry Muffin, that strain is truly one of a kind. Check out High Mountain Health if you haven’t already. Their GSC is awesome.
