Blue OG Indica Cannabis Strain Review

[Blueberry x Blue Moonshine x OG Kush][70% Indica]

Now that I don’t work at the dispensary it’s been fun finding my flower from different sources. This Blue OG is a friends home grown that I was super impressed with. It is a strain that is once again picking up steam because it translates quite well into extractions. I love OG and am thankful for the comeback of Blue OG, because it smells and tastes amazing. It also delivers a pure, delicious Indica high that can mellow the most tightly strung of nerves.

How Does It Hit the Senses?

It is so wonderful to put your nose in a jar of Blue OG. The aroma hits you immediately and the flowers grow beautiful and blanketedΒ with trichomes. Short, fat and squatty bud structure with light green calyxes that shine with an ethereal blue hue. Small light brown orange pistils are coated across each nug evenly. The aroma hits you first with a sweet blueberry then a sharp, pungent geranium. When you break the buds up a pure sticky sweet berry aroma fills the room.

What is the Effect?

Floral terpenes take immediate hold when you first inhale the smoke from Blue OG. Effects are first felt in the ocular system where the relaxation congregates. Slowly the seeping release of tension moves from the cranium and down the back to the rest of the body. Feel immediate pain relief as anxieties drift away from the slowing mind. Nestle into this effectΒ as it wraps around you. You will get lethargic if you’re not a regular Indica smoker, so save this strain for evening times after your work is finished for the day. This is a great strain for appetite stimulation, you’ll get hungry due in part to the Blueberry genetic parentage. A great option for PMS and any mood swings or pain.
